Questions.
It is such a weird and obscure topic to talk about, isn’t it? And to write about it is even more puzzling. But, that is the exact reason I chose to share my thoughts on it. Believe me or not but, Questions are extraordinary things!
If you think about it, a question by itself, however simple and concise it may be, is immensely powerful. In my opinion, they are the single most underrated thing in the entire universe. And why do I hold them of such great importance?
See, the last line above should explain the exact meaning why a question is extremely important. It makes you wonder, forces you to ponder, leaves you unsettled for an answer which you desperately need to find, and most importantly, it leads you to think. And that is where the power of a question lies, in finding an answer to it. It would never actually stand to benefit much to know the real answer but the question leading us to it is infinitely more important.
We utterly need to do this, we need to ask questions, whether right or wrong ones, it doesn’t matter, what matters is the act of questioning.
Why?
What?
How?
All these mere words are not just a combination of letters but, they are a striking, blinding force, a force which can break through the hardest of walls if used correctly.
But, even after knowing all this, we suppress ourselves and the people around us from speaking, from saying, from asking. “Keep your mouth shut! You are not supposed to ask that…” we repeatedly say, either to someone else, or to our own selves. We won’t admit to it but, we all do this.
And if this continues then how on earth are we supposed to find answers, when we are not even asking the right questions?
